The villagers had spotted the elephant while it was in the jungle with serious injuries and had informed the wildlife officials. He fell into a swamp from starvation, unable to find food due to severe injuries to his legs and body. The elephant's body was emaciated due to lack of food and it looked like a skeleton covered in skin.
Heart-warming wildlife officers were quick to act.
The elephant is removed from the swamp before starting treatment. A very large elephant cannot be lifted by humans. So the removal is done with the help of a jcb machine.

The animal must then be raised to regain energy in the body. So first the animal was given saline and medicine. The wound was then washed with water, disinfected, and medicated. They then injected the elephant with antibiotics to speed up recovery and boost immunity.
In the meantime, wildlife officials and the surrounding villagers provide food and drink.
A few hours after the saline treatment, the elephant gained more energy. Later, wildlife officials and surrounding villagers tried to stop the animal. But it was a difficult task. As it was getting dark in the evening, they completed the operation that day and left to resume treatment the next day.
