How to create a Code 128 GS1 barcode with GTIN and expiration date

Video shows creation of a Code 128 GS1 barcode in Softmatic BarcodePlus V5. After selecting the symbology, the user enters the 14-digit GTIN number (Application Identifier 01) to encode followed by the expiration date (AI 17, format YYMMDD). Then the size of the code is set. Finally the text size is adjusted and the code exported to a print-ready PDF.

The app will automatically perform check digit calculation, data formatting and insert the required FNC1 symbols to create a valid Code 128 GS1 symbol.
