My Onkyo stop producing sounds all of a sudden. I couldn't figure out exactly why. After some research, I found that the Texas Instruments DSP chip needed to be re-flowed... When the chip gets hot that it melts the solder joints and warps enough where electrical contact is no longer made.

I decided to put a heat sink on the chip, just to see if that will help.
