Alby Gonzalez: [00:18:37.54] It's definitely something that you have to try over and over until you have it done. Because remember when you're doing an isometric hold, the goal that you're trying to do is to recruit as many muscle fibers as possible. So yeah it actually does take focus because you know you want to make sure you're recruiting the right muscle fibers. You know for example if you're doing a pull up, you know a lot of times when you [00:19:00.0] have a beginner when they first started doing pull ups what happens their biceps get extremely sore. Because their body hasn't learned what muscle fibers and things like that fire off where more experienced lifter or somebody who's been training a little bit longer.

Alby Gonzalez: [00:21:02.68] Yes. Most isometric workouts you know just straight isometrics. Little to no weights or anything like that. Now you know I love lifting weights. It's something that I just love to do. You know what I just know that I cannot be maxing out every week. I can't tax my body like that anymore. But with the way that I do my isometrics is I still incorporate weights you know. My first set is like a warm-up set. Getting the mind and muscle connection [00:21:30.0] ready you know to let the body know this is the movement we're going to be doing. And then the second set is regular set into an isometric hold. So, I combine both. And then the third set would be like a burnout set you know. Now that I'm already pretty much burned out from the isometric goal. Because that is the goal because you're trying to be time efficient about it as well.
