La Linea, or the Linesman (in the US) is an Italian animated series that was created buythe cartoonist Osvaldo Cavandoli. The series were produced in 3 seasons with a total of 90 episodes. Season 1 only contained 8 episodes. The episodes are between 2 - 4,5 minues long and were broadcasted at the Italian TV-channel Rai between the years 1971 -1986. La Linea series became very popular and was shown in more than 40 countries around the world. He has got different names in about all countries.
