Looks like Mad Max Furry Road is one of the top Atmos demos and it didn’t disappoint!

Condition - 90% (not counted in the Average Guy Hi-Fi score)

Couple minor blemishes but overall, this set was in very good condition!

Quality - 8.5

These speakers are very nice quality for the price point. They have very high quality speaker components, grills and binding posts.

The only place that I felt they were a little lacking would be the cabinet weight and the wood grain vinyl. They aren’t really lacking in either metric but I’ve definitely had beefier cabinets and nicer vinyl wood grain in this price point from brands like Polk and Klipsch.

Overall, very nice quality speakers, especially considering everything you get.

Sound - 8.5

These sound much larger than they are and have excellent imaging. Closing my eyes and just listening to these 5 speakers, I was just amazed at how the sounds just seemed to come from everywhere.

The “bouncy” Atmos speakers aren’t ideal and you will get much better results with ceiling mounted speakers but I was still very surprised with the results, in my room.

Andrew Jones was able to do it again!

MSRP Rating - 8.5

With 5 a 5.25” woofer and dual mid-range and tweeters in each bookshelf, it is pretty impressive that they were only $750/pair.

I would have rated them a little higher but I was hoping for a little more substantial feeling cabinet. Minor complaint though.

Aesthetics - 8.0

These are some of the few speakers that I actually prefer the looks with the grills on. I think the cabinets look nice but the slant at the top, for the Atmos speakers, didn’t sit all that well with my visual preferences.

Not ugly or anything, just not as attractive as say some Definitive Technology Mythos or some of the Fluance speakers I’ve owned, to name a couple.

Price Paid Value - 8.0

I almost bumped this up to an 8.5 at the last minute but I’m sticking with an 8. There’s no doubt that picking up these 5 speakers for $400 was a killer deal but as you know, I’ve had some pretty amazing deals over the years.

With that said, the center channel a lone had an MSRP OF $400 alone so them at means I got the 4 Atmos bookshelf speakers for free, using new pricing:)

Final Thoughts -

These are just fantastic sounding speakers and actually do a very good job projecting Atmos channels.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with these!
