Learn to go directly through the network diagram to create a new project in Microsoft Project. To create a project, Once the decomposition (SDP) done, we have the list of tasks. These tasks we need to order them to find successors and predecessors as well as the types of relations. For this the task network diagram is very well suited. It allows in particular to quickly see the critical path.
This approach follows the analysis of the scope of a project, which often leads to a WBS Work Breakdown Structure. From there we make a list of activities and their duration estimates. We use the network diagram to put them in the order of execution of the work.
