This is a beautiful song written by John Lennon about his son Sean when he was born.It features on his album 'Double Fantasy'. I remember always wanting to be able to play that little almost fantasy,lullaby sounding part at the start of the song, which runs all the way through it, on acoustic guitar.I did learn it and decided to record this song.When i became a father myself I wrote a song about my son also as a kind of tribute and diary of what I felt.This song was the benchmark for any song written by a parent to their child, In my opinion.It just fills you with joy and anticipation and love for a man who really had been given a second chance at parenthood and life in general and who was gonna grab it with both hands.I will always have this as a go to song on any of my playlists I make. I recorded my version in my home on the 14th May 2022.God Bless you John for giving us this song and so many others.
