Recently I switched my world over to a new terrain generation method with a new set of mods, but I wanted to keep other parts of my world (The End and the Spectral Realm) as they were. It took a bit of researching to figure out how to do that, so I thought I would make a tutorial with what I found.

Make sure to backup all your data before you try doing any of this. This tutorial makes extensive use of NBT Explorer which you can find at http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-tools/1262665-nbtexplorer-nbt-editor-for-windows-and-mac

NBT Explorer is necessary to change the seed and terrain gen settings of a minecraft world without changing everything else about the world.

With this tutorial you should be able to destroy and remake individual dimensions, change the terrain generation options and mods, and stitch together dimensions from multiple save files into a single save.
