This is the tab for this song by The Stranglers, based on what I believe is the definitive acoustic guitar version, as performed by @thesecretsea. There are other cover versions out there, but to play on guitar, I have not seen anything better than this. Thanks to @thesecretsea for the great arrangement and performance of this song.

There are 2 versions of the OneChart available for download, which includes the faithful tab of The Secret Sea's version, as per this video:

as well as the same tab adjusted to fit the format of the original The Stranglers recording. (The only real difference is the number of repeats in certain sections.) This allows you to practise with both versions. The original key, however, is Bbm, whereas this lesson and the charts are in Bm, because the arrangement requires it. This means to actually play along with the original Stranglers recording, you will need to tune your guitar down a half-step, to Eb tuning (Eb-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-Eb).
