We absolutely love the beautifully tasteful, understated playing of Massachusetts-based guitarist Johnny A. Having worked as a sideman for Bobby Whitlock, Mingo Lewis and J Geils frontman Peter Wolf, Johnny has also released a string of his own brilliant instrumental albums.

This dreamy version of Cyndi Lauper’s classic ‘Time After Time’ was recorded in Johnny’s own Genelec-powered studio. Be sure to watch it all, though – the improvised second half is awash with lush effects, and is a joy to behold!
