3018-Prover 300 Watt Spindle Upgrade with GRBL control

Sainsmart 300 watt spindle motor kit installed in 3018-Prover and wired so as to allow GRBL control of spindle speed and spindle power. Be sure to refer to the diagrams in this video to ensure proper connection to the mains. The drawings include a GND connection. The GND terminal is connected to the case. Note also the addition of the RC filter to smooth the PWM output. Thanks for watching.

Important: Do not confuse this power supply with the cheap 100v power supply that comes with a 500w spindle motor! Those power supplies are not isolated from the mains and are very dangerous! They will not work with this control method.
