Building a Porch Swing

This beautiful custom porch swing was built using plans from Woodcraft. The plans are for a 4 foot bench and I customized this swing to be 6 feet long with a seat depth of 24 inches. I decided to use cedar and the whole thing cost me $275 however you could save some cost and make it out of Douglas fir.
