Turkey has a very old and rich folk dancing tradition, which is different from region to region. All dances are colourful, rhythmic and elegant.

A High School Folk Dance Team is performing dances from the Aegean Region (Western Turkey). This perfect dance performance was held in the Beşiktaş Square, Istanbul.

Please take also notice of the traditional costumes and the traditional Turkish dance music.
