The Cometa House is a modern beach house located in the small town of Mazunte in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. It was designed by Mexican architects Mauricio Rocha and Gabriela Carrillo and completed in 2019.

The house is situated on a steeply sloping site at the edge of a nature preserve. The architects responded to the site's topography by creating a series of interconnected platforms that are arranged in a stepped fashion. The platforms are made of concrete and stone, and they are topped with a roof of thatched palm leaves.

The house has two main volumes: a two-story stone tower and a single-story timber-framed structure. The stone tower contains the living room, kitchen, and dining room. The timber-framed structure contains the bedrooms and bathrooms.

The house is designed to blend in with the natural surroundings. The materials, colors, and textures of the house are all inspired by the local environment. The concrete and stonework are reminiscent of the rocks and cliffs that surround the house, while the thatched roof echoes the palm trees that grow nearby.
