In this video I introduce Magic 3D Easy View software which is a 3D visualizer program that allows you to create a 3D stage design with light fixtures that project light beams. These fixtures and light beams are in turn controlled by the QLC+ software. It is a way to visualize your stage lighting setup in 3D without actually being at the stage or theater. Dimensions, fixtures and light beam size and shape are accurately represented so you can use this to determine the placement and type of lighting fixture you might use in designing your lighting plan for a production.
This series of videos was created to help community theater groups. It is an introduction and series of tutorials using QLC+, a lighting program that can replace a traditional light board and is a great alternative to community theater groups due to its attractive cost.
