QMK Tutorial: QMK Toolbox (DEPRECATED)

You may still use this video to flash your board, however there have been many updates to make the process easier and more efficient. These are covered in the updated video.

**Notes**

Please note that in this video I used a dz60 which uses .hex firmware files. Your board might use a .bin firmware file.

As of version 0.0.18, QMK Toolbox will prompt you to install drivers on initial install, or you can right click and select "install driver"

The process for installing VIA enabled QMK firmware and regular QMK firmware is identical. However please be aware that the hex file in timestamp 0:50 is in reference not only to my specific board but also a non VIA enabled firmware.

The video is 4 minutes and 29 seconds long, however please do not feel that you need to understand and comprehend it in that exact same timeframe. Take your time and spend as long as you need, rewatch as many times as you need.

Choose your firmware file (.hex in my example) - 2:45
Choose your microcontroller (atmega32u4 in my example) - 2:50
Reset Your Keyboard - 3:09
Flash Your Board - 3:39
