How this disturbing Simpsons running joke ruined Sideshow Bob

If you thought Sideshow Bob stepping on rakes was the character’s main running gag, then you probably haven’t watched a Simpsons episode featuring Bart’s murderous nemesis in the past decade. Because, unfortunately, the show introduced a disturbing new running joke to Sideshow Bob’s repertoire in season 21, and he’s become one of my least favorite characters since.

In this video I explore the graphic, body-horror running gag that has plagued most HD-era Sideshow Bob episodes, and take a look at other (better!) instances of body horror in The Simpsons and more.
