Complete installation tutorial for the Macaulay2 programming language on Windows 10 and Linux (Ubuntu 20). Information was current as of summer 2021. Macaulay2, Ubuntu, and the "windows subsystem for linux" product on Windows 10 are all under constant development so you may need to modify these instructions to account for any changes. If you run into a particular problem, let me know in the comments and I might be able to help out.
