Consequent upon the decision taken by the Government on the mmendations made by the Seventh Central Pay Commission for providing benefits to women employees with disabilities especially when they have g children and children with disability, the President is pleased to issue the wing instructions:

Women with disabilities shall be paid Rs.3000/-per month as Special Allowance for Child care. The allowance shall be payable from the time of the child's birth till the child is two years old.

It shall be payable for a maximum of two eldest surviving children. Disability means a person having a minimum Disability of 40% as elaborated in Ministry of Welfare's Notification No. 16-18/97-NII dated 1.6.2001 and amended from time to time.

The above limit would be automatically raised by 25% every time the Dearness Allowance on the revised pay structure goes up by 50%.
[16/05, 14:30] Devendra CUG: Sub: Concession based ticketing including online ticketing for the physically challenged persons using Photo Identity Card issued by the Railways.

As already advised vide Board's letter referred to above, a pilot project has been hed on Northern Railway for concession based ticketing through counters as well as met (online booking) for the physically challenged persons using Photo Identity Card unique ID number issued by the Railway.

Pursuant to the Budget Announcement of the Hon'ble MR during presentation of ailway Budget 2015-16, it has now been decided by Board to launch this Scheme on ndian Railways which will enable the physically challenged persons to book essional reserved tickets across PRS counters, e-ticket/i-ticket through IRCTC te and also concessional unreserved tickets across the UTS counters throughout the ry on the authority of Photo Identity Card (which will be uniquely numbered) to be by the Railways. The detailed procedure to be followed for implementation of the me along with a specimen of the Photo Identity Card are enclosed herewith.
