Frostgrave Battle Report | Whispers of the Dead | S2 E2

Season 2 is cruising along with our second Frostgrave battle report! We continue our Frostgrave campaign with Agoloth the Doomwhisperer, the Necromancer.

Agoloth, our Wizard is introduced in this Battle Report and he is ready to make his mark on the world of Frostgrave!

SCENARIO NOTES:
-Intended for a single wizard
-Set up a 3’ x 3’ or smaller table with terrain reflecting an abandoned graveyard.
-In the center of the board set up the ghoul king creature (Stats: M6|F+4|S+0|A10|W+4|H15) and their warband of 4 other simple monsters (ghoul stats), and the central treasure. Keep the starting ghouls within 6 inches of the ghoul king.
-On any board edge, set up the starting location of the single warband.
-Only three treasures will be used in this scenario (including the central treasure). The other two treasures must be placed within 8” of the central treasure.
-For initiative, the ghoul king (+0) and the wizard roll off. If the ghouls win, they can take their turn as a wizard, and choose any two other allies on the board to complete actions as well. Then the wizard would complete his 3 phases, and the game would proceed to the creature phase.
-The ghoul king’s creatures act as if they are bloodthirsty for the wizard and their warband and will always move towards the closest enemy they see.
-At the end of every round, two skeletons emerge from a randomly determined board edge. These skeletons are considered a part of the ghoul king’s warband.
-Roll treasure as normal after the game. Experience points are gained as normal for this scenario with the following addition:
-+25 experience if the ghoul king is defeated.
