Volkswagen has revamped its California camper van for the European market. Positioned between the Caddy California and the Grand California, this mini motorhome now comes with a new hybrid powertrain and boasts a larger size compared to its predecessor, resulting in a more spacious cabin.

The updated camper van will come in five different configurations: Beach, Beach Tour, Beach Camper, Coast, and Ocean. Each model features a rooftop tent and two sliding doors equipped with mosquito nets. Additionally, Volkswagen will introduce a new optional awning available in certain markets and standard in others, covering both sides of the vehicle.
