HEX-9 Hard Ceramic is specialised at drilling into the following materials:
- Ceramic tiles with a hardness up to grade 5
- Roof tiles
- Non-tempered Glass
- Natural stone tiles (max. 10mm thickness where percussion would not be efficient due to material’s absorption)
The drill bit is ideal for sanitary installations such as drilling holes when installing accessories like towel or soap holders. It is also suitable for roofing, e.g. drilling into hard roof tiles.
The HEX-9 Hard Ceramic Drill Bit offers an outstandingly long lifetime when drilling in hard tiles. Its tough carbide head is specially designed with multiple, extremely sharp cutting edges that distribute the workload, resulting in less wear, high endurance and a smooth drilling process thanks to its centring tip that prevents slipping. The bit does not require cooling and can be used with cordless drills and impact drivers.
