Hey there!
Amplification for string instrument opens to a big debate online and on stage. I've been like all of us in that place where I didn't know what to use. A pickup or a microphone...? There is so many on the market and there is not a lot of quality content and reviews about them. I've toured for years on Cavalia Odysseo, Cirque du Soleil show Varekai, Phantom of the opera and I performed hundreds of gigs with bands, orchestras,studio sets and in all styles ( classical, rock,jazz, world, hip-hop, etc). I had the chance to play, experiment, record with tons of awesome and not so awesome gear. It's now time for me to share my secrets with you.
