Dimarzio Illuminator, Titan, Gravity Storm, Transition, Super Distortion
Описание
It will be probably hard to pick up differences with that sound quality :(
I also used Tascam recorder, but it sounds just middy, wrong placement or something
Guitar is out of tune a lot of times but I didnt care that much
Just wanted to swap pickup fast and test them
BTW. I think every pickup has its use. For example in my PRS D-Activator sounds awesome, Gravity Storm not so much.
In SLSMG it is the opposite.
Tested pickups in red SLSMG, used black for reference (Gibson 500T)

My notes:
Gravity Storm
really thick, smooth highs, a little loose bass, good note definition, especially bass ones
thick, bright, yet smooth, quite aggresive, between round and boxy sound
lacked clarity/sharpness on high notes for me
Sounds weird on recording, but sounded really alive in the room
D-Activator
I love it in PRS, in this setup was a little muddy/hollow/boxy.
Very nice note clarity in chords, sweet highs. Modern character/boxy, aggressive.
Dimarzio Super Distortion
more PAF-like, nice low-end thump, ok highs clarity, quite tight and even sounding
a little muddy bass single notes, compressed
felt a little muddier after playing Gravity
Titan - exceptional chords clarity, a little muddy bass though, I think D-Activator had better bass definition,
single high notes are a bit thin. I guess it sounds better on really high gain.
Titan was more alive(more mids) than D-Activator and probably a little wider frequencies AFAIR
Modern PAF/more edgy, yet sweet.
Really liked this one but sounded a bit lifeless compared to Gravity/DP100/Transition, though on the video it sounds very nice.
Transition - very nice bass note clarity, liked that a lot
very punchy and "round"/natural sound, middy overall, but in a nice way,
high notes are a little thin (not as Titan/D-Activator though)
Like more smooth/punchy/more alive Super Distortion
I missed high notes clarity and modern character of Titan though
notes feel even, like when alternating random 00 and chors ;)
Illuminator - very crisp/crunchy sounding one, even frequencies, clear
to me it was too boxy, and too cutting actually, I like some smoothness in the low mids, like 5150
no mud at all with this one. Liked Titan better, as Titan had sweeter sound.
