How to install Java JDK 8 on Windows XP

Step 1 - Download 7-Zip.

Step 2 - Double Click on 7z920.exe and install it.

Step 3 - Right Click on jdk-8u5-windows-i586.exe to 7-Zip to
Extract to jdk-8u5-windows-i586/.

Step 4 - You will get a tool file. Right Click on tools.zip and Extract in a folder ( I did it in jdk8 folder then copy the folder to program file.

Step 5 - Click here to download kri.bat file and put it in " Program file\jdk8(your folder name)\jre\bin\kri.bat".

NOTE - kri.bat should be in " jdk8(Your folder)\jre\bin\kri.bat ". This is very important step to unpack the .pack file.

Step 6 - Double click on kri.bat.
NOTE - If you are facing issue while running kri.bat, then open the cmd and go to " program file\jdk8(your folder)\jre\bin\ " and run the following commands.
unpack200 ..\lib\charsets.pack ..\lib\charsets.jar
unpack200 ..\lib\deploy.pack ..\lib\deploy.jar
unpack200 ..\lib\javaws.pack ..\lib\javaws.jar
unpack200 ..\lib\jsse.pack ..\lib\jsse.jar
unpack200 ..\lib\plugin.pack ..\lib\plugin.jar
unpack200 ..\lib\rt.pack ..\lib\rt.jar
unpack200 ..\lib\ext\jfxrt.pack ..\lib\ext\jfxrt.jar
unpack200 ..\lib\ext\localedata.pack ..\lib\ext\localedata.jar
unpack200 ..\..\lib\tools.pack ..\..\lib\tools.jar

Step 7 - Set the PATH Environment variable.
Start to My Computer (right click) to Properties to Advance to Environmental Variable to System Variable to Path and then paste the location. press ok and ok . ( I did was " C:\Program Files\jdk8\jre\bin ").

Your JDK8 is INSTALLED in Windows XP
Then Install Ellipse and Continue Programming. ^_^ .
