Setup Different Background Images on Dual Monitors
Описание
Welcome to the Braintek video tutorials. My name’s Greg, owner of Braintek. Today, I’m going to talk about how to have two different pictures on your multiscreen computer. In Windows 8, it was relatively easy, but in Windows 10, it’s not. Let me show you what I’m talking about. Alright, so we’re going to right-click and go to ‘Personalized’ and here we go. We’re going to pick picture and we pick a picture. So I’m going to minimize this. you can see that this is the same picture, just kind of on both screens duplicated for us. Now, the recording software doesn’t let me show both screens real well so I’ve kind of got it split between the two screens here. So this is screen one; this is screen two. Here, under Personalized, you don’t get the option to pick the screen that you like. So what we’re going to do is open up the Run box. You can do that by hitting Cmd+R and we’re going to type in this long command. It’s “control /name Microsoft.Personalization /page pageWallpaper” and so we’re going to click OK on that. Then it brings up the original Control Panel personalized personalization desktop screen. From here – let’s close that one – we’re going to right-click on one of these and we’re going to say “I want to set that for monitor 1.” As you can see, now, I’ve got that picture on monitor 1 and we still have this original picture on monitor 2. Then we’re going to right-click on this one and set that for monitor 2 and now I’ve got a pretty bunch of flowers on my desktop. I hit ‘Save Changes.’ It’s set. I’d like to thank you for watching the Braintek video tutorials. Check out our other videos on the Braintek channel. Have a great day and don’t forget to become a subscriber.
