Use the Drop-Shape circle segmented cutter in 3-axis and 5-axis operations for extremely efficient finishing and residual stock machining. This cutter type, also known as drum cutter (as in the tips of drumsticks) is important in the flank milling of freeform surfaces. They are often used in the machining of aerospace components such as blisks, centrifugal impellers, and structural parts… and for injection molds, too.
