Beat'em up is easily my favorite video game genre of all time. I started liking video games because of Streets of Rage, for the Sega Genesis. Beat'em ups are also the main reason, why I enjoy Musou games as well. I considered Musou games as a spiritual successor to classic beat'em ups.
