Some reminders of the Buki waza seminar

Part 1 : Jo nage

- Kokyu nage 1 ( kiri kaeshi ) same mouvement as ryote dori
Tips : use leverage effect ( kaiten feeling ) in other words use first of all the end of the Jo
-Sankyo ( same idea )
-kokyu nage 2 / same kokyu with ryote dori
Tips : It is because the partner feels you on his back that he will move, then before he get a strong position you act
-Shiho nage omote / same with katate ryote dori shiho nage ( static basic)
Tips : use the end of the jo as if it were your leg to create space under and not lifting the Grab


Part 2 : Aikiken

Suburi : shomen ( try to feel the verticality of your axis )
Exo : kesa giri with a swip

1-swip and shomen on the Line
2-swip and kesa on the line
3-going to the left kesa giri
4-Still on the left side kiri kaeshi ( but mentaly you stay on the line )
5-same on jodan tsuki
6-kiri kaeshi to the Right


Part 3 : Jo dori

Tips : The attack even slowly try to touch you all the time
Use the attack like the wind that sets a wind turbine in motion
Using the same form as empty hand work ( kesa, soto feeling )
At the end of a kata, come back to a straigth and neutral position to be prepared

- kokyu nage 1
- kote gaeshi
- naname iriminage ( don’t push, cut ) straight or with a tenkan
- shiho nage ( use the jo as your leg ) straight or with a tenkan
- ikkyo omote ( control the elbaw until the end )
