Troubles Up & Down the Road is an excellent independently released Old Crow Medicine Show EP containing a collection of traditional old time songs and an early version of the band's hit song Wagon Wheel. Unfortunately, this independent release is no longer available, but it can be found online in mp3 form by those who know where to look. In this video I have collected earlier versions of the five traditional songs that makeup the bulk of the recording. In some cases I have used the earliest known recordings and in other cases the version's that clearly influenced the Old Crow renditions.
