VIRSIGN offers a virtual reality portal crane simulator, that can be used to train new operators, test and verify competence. VR and hand tracking technologies give the student full immersion into the working progress. The key features of this simulator are realistic physics, customisable scenarios, changeable weather, dangerous situations simulation.

There are two main scenarios: a bulk barge scenario, where the student has to transfer sand alike materials using grab, and a container unloading scenario, where the student is learning to use mechanical traverse.
