Zoe works for a company that measures the compatibility between couples and finds matches for singles using an advanced A.I. Apart from matchmaking, the company is also venturing into robotics to create synthetic partners for people. Zoe falls in love with the head designer, Cole, but she finds out that they're not compatible at all. Despite this, Cole and Zoe enter into a relationship, but Cole soon learns that the reason for their incompatibility is not something he can easily accept.
