HOW TO GET BABY BACK TO BREASTFEEDING | WHAT WORKS | TIPS TO GET BABY FROM BOTTLE TO BREAST

Hi everyone, following my breastfeeding journey ( https://youtu.be/FNBhU2HDhy0 ) where I spoke about the journey from exclusively pumping and bottle feeding my baby back to breastfeeding at 5 months old, I thought I would share another back to breast/ breastfeeding video. I’m talking more specifically about what helped me, and my tips and advice for getting your baby breastfeeding again.

Whether your baby has stopped breastfeeding, has an aversion, on nipple strike, has a bottle preference, or nipple confusion or won’t latch on to you, or maybe you stopped but now want to get back to breastfeeding and get your baby to relatch, then I hope my back to breastfeeding tips help you and baby get from bottle to breast. Our problem was having a tongue tie which hindered our early breastfeeding journey and then after two divisions, my baby wouldn’t latch at all - then he could but wasn’t feeding, and then a feeding aversion. After which we finally got to the place where he was exclusively breastfeeding.

Along the way I feel like I have learnt SO much! I actually thought I knew a lot about breastfeeding until I became a mum and came across all these issues. I saw two feeding specialists, an independent lactation consultant, read countless articles and webpages and spoke to many people online. As such, coupled with my experiences, I have gained a lot of knowledge about breastfeeding, but of course I’m not an expert, I’ve no training so just a disclaimer to of course research the points I raise and I really do encourage anyone to get support if you haven’t already. I’ve left some useful links below.

The aim of this video is to reach the people who are in a similar situation I was in a few months ago, to hopefully help you with some ideas and also to give you some hope and strength! It’s blooming hard but I’m right here with you.
