**A correction: at the end of the video FPS values wrong. FSR is 63FPS, traditional scaling is 67FPS**



A 1080p picture looks bad on a 1440p screen because of upscaling algorithm's losses. The low quality stretching omits some of the details. This is especially a big problem with 4K, 1440p and ultrawide users. A Github user: Blinue, has created an alternative upscaling tool, Magpie, to be able use different algorithms to upscale low resolution content and recently added AMD's new FSR to it. All you need to do is download the tool, select FSR on the list, set your game into windowed mode and activate the tool for trying.


Additionally; you can use "CRU" to create more resolutions for your screen. And use "RTSS" to cap both of your game's and Magpie's FPSs. And use "Process Lasso" to give Magpie slightly higher priority so that it doesn't choke.
