We’ve replaced the linkage bearings and the swingarm bearings, so now we’ll turn our attention to the shock. John will show you how to replace the shock bearings on a dirt bike, and in this case, a 2005 Honda CRF450R.

This is a fairly straightforward job, and you can see how to remove the shock in the playlist above. Here, we’ll start with the shock removed and we’ll remove the seals and press the old bearings out. There is a stopper ring you’ll need to remove to allow you to pull the bearing through.
