Update.

This peircing is so stubborn and still not fully healed even after 1.5 years (17 months)! The jewellery was changed to 14kt yellow gold.

I lost the jewellery (unawared) so the peircing was left without an earring overnight and had to be 'repierced', this may have sabotaged the healing process.
