My friend and Nashville session player Paul Hollowell turned me on to Allen Stone some time back. "Figure It Out" was actually a bonus track off Allen's 2011 self titled/self release. It was the only "LIVE" track on the record. I just love the old school soul vibe of it. I chose to play my Epiphone Jack Casady Signature bass strung with tapewound flats to capture that old school R&B vibe. I hope you dig it.
