The MP2307 chip, an integrated MOSFET which can provide 3A continuously.
Minimum input voltase 4.75V to 23V operating range.
Output voltage 1 to 17V are available with up to 95% efficiency with cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection and under-voltage lock-out.
It all depends on the design of the module and its supporting components as well.
