In this series of videos we are going to show you how to tune a Honda GX160 Engine to increase the performance. The procedures in this series also apply to the Honda GX200 engine and popular copy engines.

In this video we show you the correct way to install piston rings on to a Honda GX160/GX200 Piston. We also show you how to swap the standard Honda Conrod for an ARC Billet Conrod. The principal is the same if you are just fitting a standard Honda conrod, however the standard Honda Conrod does not have bearing shells.

A billet conrod is a lot stronger than the standard Honda Conrod so can withstand greater tuning, needed when exceeding 6000rpm and for high HP applications. We also supply slightly longer rods which will help raise the compression ratio.
