Sonic Sculpture STELLA at the New Stage of Alexandrynsky Theater.

SONIC SCULPTURE - a multimedia artifact, which integrates sound and LED systems with a set of sensors that read the movements and movements of people around it.
Depending on the activity of the spectators, the sculpture reproduces a unique sound scale and color palette.
In other words: viewers of the exposition and their activity near the artifact control the audio-visual space of the sculpture, plunging into the process of interaction with the object and creating a collective and whole musical composition.
STELLA is a vertical LED rod with a height of two meters, made of acrylic material with a light-spreading coating. The base, in the form of a mirror disk made of polished metal, has an interactive system with motion sensors and an acoustic system.

STELLA is developed within Artist-in-Residence program at the Institute of Art & Science of the University ITMO.

Звуковая Скульптура «СTELLA» представлена на фестивале медиаискусства MEDIA IN в фойе Новой сцены Александринского Театра.

«СТЕЛЛА» представляет собой двухметровый светодиодный стержень, выполненный из акрила со свето-распространяющим покрытием. В основании находится металлический диск со встроенными датчиками движения и акустической системой. Сенсоры считывают перемещения зрителей и в зависимости от их активности, скульптура воспроизводит уникальную звуковую и цветовую гаммы. Таким образом зрители экспозиции становятся её соавторами, управляют аудио-визуальным пространством скульптуры, создают коллективную композицию.

СТЕЛЛА разработана в рамках Арт Резиденции на базе Института Art & Science Университет ИТМО.
