What is Quantum Foam?
Empty space isnt so empty. It contains virtual particles pairs that annihilate and create back into the The fundamental length scale of our Universe, which supposedly takes on a topological foamy character termed Quantum Foam.
In this video I go over the basics of Quantum foam, referencing books with clips of physicist speaking about Planck Length Physics, foam, and how this relates to the idea of Quantum gravity itself.
Quantum foam results when applying the uncertainty principle to Space Time. We see quantum fluctuations of the gravitational field.
This whole quest began with Max Planck discovering a unit of fundamental length by combining his newly discovered constant h studying radiation, combined with Newtons gravitational constant G and the speed of light c, yielding the Planck Length, Mass and time.
