NVMEVM1 started at 5:37 and completed at 10:31 practically 5 minutes.
SSDVM2 started at 12:28 and completed at 18:59, which was 6.5 minutes, which is marginal, in my opinion. NVME disks, especially the Samsung EVO Plus SSDs are expected to be minimum twice as fast especially when arranged with RAID0 configuration.
The extra cost and hassle to use NVME drives at least with ASUS Hyper M.2 on my DELL T7910 wouldn't be worth the slight, if any, performance boost.
I'll keep these drives, since I wanted to have some hands on experience, and the extra costs are not that expensive vs regular SSDs. However, Definitely, I wouldn't buy any more NVMe SSDs, instead I'd buy additional SATA SSDs and RAID them with the RAID controller of my motherboard.
