Typically BAs come at the very front end of the project life cycle and some times even before the project starts. They work on the stakeholder interactions, identifying and specifying the vision and roadmap and high level requirements for the project. Even though the team is not fully on boarded by this time, BAs still need to work with people from other teams. Once the team is onboarded and the project commences, business analysts continue working with the teams and delivering the outputs and outcomes. Also, negotiation plays a crucial role in the BA's repertoire of skills while engaging with the team members and key stakeholders.
