Download Firestorm at http://www.firestormviewer.org/linux/

Extract the resulting tar.xz archive to any safe place.

Navigate to the folder you extracted from it and then go to the etc folder within it.

Open a terminal and enter this command to have Firestorm show up in your applications menu:

./refresh_desktop_app_entry.sh

sudo apt-get install libalut0 to fix missing voice chat.
