Policymakers and industry representatives met with experts from Brussels to discuss the challenges, but also the opportunities presented by the new directives and strategies on Sustainable Textiles & Fashion announced by the European Commission.

Member of the European Parliament Alexis Georgoulis, who is an Ambassador of Fashion Revolution Greece & Raise Your Voice Festival was among the MEPs who signed the Shadow Strategy of the Civil Society Organisations for Textiles, Garment, Footwear and Leather back in 2020.

The Policy Dialogue was organised by the Research Centre on Sustainable Fashion of the Athens University of Economics and Business together with the international civil society organizations, Fashion Revolution & FairTrade Advocacy Office, in the Amphitheatre of the French Institute in Athens.
