A laminectomy and facetectomy are performed and pedicle pilot holes are drilled. A discectomy is performed and cages with iliac bone graft are placed into the disc spaces. The transverse processes are then decorticated and pedicle screws are placed, followed by posterolateral fusion using mixed bone graft, rods, and a crosslink.
