Let's take a moment to discuss PHP syntax and - in particular - how camelCase became the dominant naming convention for PHP developers.

I happen to believe that the creation of Google's V8 JavaScript Engine was one of the most important events in the history of web development. In this video I'll outline how and why the creation of the V8 Engine changed the web development landscape and moved PHP developers away from writing code that looked like C towards a type of coding style that looked more like JavaScript.
