Gibson Flying V: My First Gibson Guitar [2006 Model]

My very FIRST Gibson Guitar!!!! How pretty is this???!!! So, about 6 weeks ago my very good friend Dan Lovett-Horn from the metal band Promethium came over bearing gifts… one being this amazing amazing customised 2006 Gibson Flying V! We did a guitar swap (he got my Spirit Dance Inada Telecaster guitar as he has wanted one for some years). This guitar was customised by Steve Berman at Sabre Guitars in California, USA. It features a burnt metal plate on top rather then the pickguard. The original truss rod cover was white so I changed that to a carbon fibre plate which looks insanely good. Pickups were originally Gibsons but they had ceramic magnets so I changed the pickups out to a Pariah Pasadena Black in bridge and a Duncan Screaming Demon in neck. The detailing is pretty insane with the skull knobs and the spike selector switch. It plays like a dream and sound pretty amazing! This really is a DREAM guitar for me!
