This Place Value Centres game for grade four or grade five students is a great way for students to get active while practicing their math skills. Students will work on mental math skills and they have to solve a math equation and do the exercise for that amount of time. The numbers included are ones, tens hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, hundred thousands and millions.

There are 10 questions each with a unique exercise. They are also perfect for math centres or to use in the gym!

I use these in Physical Education as a warm up and I also use it in my fitness unit or during stations. I'd also suggest using this as a classroom teacher if you want a fun way to practice math. These are perfect little math brain breaks (Math DPA) that allow your students to work on their mental math skills in a fun, interactive and low pressure way.
